The work involves gaining access to grand disused buildings across London (Victorian Hotel, Post-War swimming pool, 19th century theatre, etc.), tracking down the people who once occupied them, and photographing them in the same spaces years - sometimes decades - later.

Combining new images with archival photos and recorded interviews with the protagonists, Every Life offers a meditation on the passing of time and photography’s role in mediating memory.
